Joseph P McEvoy, MD, is a Professor of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at Augusta University, and Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Duke University.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and trained in Internal Medicine (University of Utah) and Psychiatry (Vanderbilt) He is Board Certified in Psychiatry. He has served on the faculties of Vanderbilt University, University of Pittsburgh, Duke University, and Augusta University. His research has focused on the biology and treatment of Schizophrenia.
